Restoration Of Paintings Of The Diocese

The Monuments and Fine arts/ Ethnoanthropologic goods Office of Calabria, financed by region Calabria, has commissioned a new lot of restoration of fifteen paintings which need imminent restoration and belong to the churches of diocese of Rossano- Cariati . These paintings will be temporarily removed from the churches in which they are kept , and once restored, they will be put in their original place. The Ecclesiastic Monuments and Fine Arts Office of the Archbishropic of Rossano - Cariati , thanks to the initiative of the Monuments and Fine arts/ Ethnoanthropologic goods Office in Cosenza has promoted the preparation of a temporary laboratory of restoring in the premises of the concert hall “Saint Clare”, near the cathedral, open from September 9th 2009 .
